Dielectric insulations papers and fibers

For a wide array of applications requiring an electrical barrier for structural means or insulation means. It requires materials with UL certification that exhibit dielectric adequate rigidity, flame retardants, conformability, thermal aging, resistance to humidity and mechanical properties. We are experts in using materials of high performance that meet said electrical, thermal, and flame retardant specifications. We use compound materials that exhibit an excellent consistency and uniformity for standard jobs or high performance.

Materials

Manufactured with a fabrication process laid in a highly controlled humid environment, our solutions are adequate for fabrication operations, including die cut, punching, and creased.

V-090

Composed by organic and inorganic compound materials, inorganic loads especially formulated, and united in a patented latex matrix. This material has a good dielectric rigidity and UL C94-5VA class classification. It has a classification of incandescent threads superior to 900 ° C and, because of that, it’s adequate for flame retardant applications.

Presentation

 40 ” wide roll

Thicknesses: 0.005 up to .030 mm.

Fish Paper

Generic name for electric insulation grade vulcanized fiber.

Characteristics

  • Dielectric.
  • Lightweight.
  • Easy perforation and formation.
  • Thermal resistant
  • Dielectric.

Formex (Polypropylene)

Provides superior armor against electric over tensions in electronic and industrial equipment and of consumption as well. It’s also useful as a thermal barrier material that reflects in its classification of class flame UL 94V-0. The Formex materials are available as sheets or rolls and can be manufactured in a wide array of forms to satisfy the inflammability and electric needs in a variety of applications.

Kapton

Polyamide film developed by DuPont in the late 1960s, this material remains stable in a wide range of temperatures, from 269 degrees Celsius to over 400.

  • Dielectric.
  • Resistant to extreme temperatures.
  • Laminated with other materials.
  • Die cut.

Lexan (Polycarbonate)

These sheets are made of polycarbonate materials that work as flame retardants, offering uniform properties for insulation and printing capacities. The variety also includes ecologically friendly sheets that allow fabricants of original equipment of electrical and electronic products to go above and beyond the current eco regulations.

Mylar

A polyester sheet that is resistant to heat combines dielectric force with humidity resistance. The insulation of Mylar is also flexible and does not become breakable during regular use. This thermal insulation is useful in a wide array of temperatures and resists many chemical products, except alcohol.

Nomex

Nomex 410 products are used practically in all of the griddle known insulators. This high density product has a better dielectric inherent resistance, mechanical resistance, flexibility, and elasticity.

Phenolics (G10, GOP-3)

A hard plastic fabricated of sheets of fabric or paper impregnated with resins under heat and pressure, this produces strong laminatings that are compact and with high mechanical resistance.

  • G10 glass fabric, epoxy resin, electrical grade (non bromated)
  • GOP-3 Randomized glass fabric, polyester, general usage grade.

Vulcanized Fiber

Laminated material composed of cellulose. It’s a robust pressed paper, electrical insulator with dielectric and traction properties, break, and extremely high outbreak.

Applications

  • Home Appliance
  • Electrical instruments
  • Electrical switches
  • Automotive
  • Railway roads insulation
  • Bushings for motor contacts
  • Electrical apparatus
  • Lightning rods
